Every Saturday a group organises a trip to old monuments across Delhi. I decided to tag along this tour group. On this particular day they where going to Hauz Khas Complex.
So we woke up at 6 in the morning at left about 7:00. We reached by 7:20 and started the walk at 7:30. When we drove there the whether was pleasant , but once the walk commensed it starting raining. At first we were skeptical of continuing, but we ultimately decided to start. I am glad that we decided to go as the location was fabulous, especially in the rain. Here are some images :

This complex was actually a university when it was used, and the lake was a source of water for the locals. The original emperor who built the abandoned the lake , until it was rediscovered by another king who later on constructed the rest of the complex.
The ruins where quite small but the view was nice. Afterwards we went the deer park and looked at the ruins in that location. Here are a some more pictures from the surrounding area:
I would recommend you visit this place if you would like to relax and I quite enjoyed the experience.
Camera information:
On this day I had taken the nikon D750 and the 35mm f1.8 dx lens. I am actually quite glad I took the 35mm f1.8 because there was not much light in the place. Even though at maximum aperture I still had to use ISO 5000 occasionally. I shoot the pictures hand held and in aperture priority. I did get some pictures inside the buildings, but I did not like them. Some of them the subject was not allied properly and in some of them the subject was a bit noisy and not sharp. Also it was difficult to take pictures due to the rain. I had a raincoat on and an umbrella , so when I was taking pictures I had to balance the umbrella and the camera and trying to not get it wet.
